JAM Motorworks (“we”, “us”, “our”, UEN 202213746C) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and how we handle it when you contact us — including via WhatsApp — book a service, or interact with our ads on Facebook and Instagram. This policy is written to comply with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
1.What We Collect
- Contact details: your name and phone number/WhatsApp number
- Vehicle details: car or motorcycle make and model, and photos you send us of your rims, calipers, or vehicle
- Booking details: appointment date and time, services requested, colour choices, pricing, and payment/deposit amounts
- Communication history: the content of messages you send us via WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook
We do not collect sensitive personal data (e.g. NRIC, payment card numbers). If you pay by bank transfer or PayNow, we only retain the transaction reference needed to confirm payment.

- To follow up after your appointment
- With your implied consent as an existing customer, to occasionally share new colours, promotions, or services via WhatsApp or Facebook/Instagram ads. You can opt out anytime.
4.WhatsApp Business API & Other Service Providers
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta Platforms, Inc.) to send and receive messages, processed through SleekFlow, our WhatsApp Business Solution Provider. These providers process your data under their own terms:

5.Facebook & Instagram Advertising
We may upload existing customers’ phone numbers to Meta in hashed (encrypted) form, to show relevant ads to past customers or find new customers with similar interests. Meta does not receive your number in plain, readable form. Contact us to opt out.
6.Data Retention
We keep booking and contact records for as long as needed for after-sales support and business records, generally up to 5 years.
7.Your Rights
Under the PDPA, you can ask what data we hold, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to marketing at any time via WhatsApp, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements).
